Our Clarified Butter with Truffle is made with butter, which has been clarified to remove water and milk proteins. This not only ensures its easier use in the kitchen but, being lactose-free, makes it more digestible and suitable for people with food intolerances. In addition, unlike traditional butter, it can be stored outside the refrigerator. In addition the process of clarification allows a more intense truffle flavour to permeate the butter enhancing the benefit of this product. 

This butter will give a delicious flavour to your foods and sauces. You can use it as a substitute for olive oil or classic butter, to cream risottos or toss pasta. For a more delicate sauce, you can use half Clarified Truffle Butter and half traditional butter. It is a delicious accompaniment to seafood and meat, try frying your scallops or cod in this butter, just like the scallops in the photo.

Clarified butter 96,7%, freeze-dried summer truffle (Tuber aestivum Vitt.) 2%, flavouring,
salt. Lactose <0.01 g per 100g.

Room temperature. After opening keep refrigerated.

Shipping

Express Delivery: order by 2.30 pm Monday to Thursday for next day delivery. 

Standard Delivery: All orders are shipped on an overnight delivery service but it may take us longer to prepare the order for shipping. Please allow up to 3-5 days, especially at busy periods.

Please note all orders placed after 2.30 pm Thursday and over the weekend are processed on Monday. We do not deliver at the weekends, this also includes express orders.  Occasionally, we can offer some flexibility on the cut-off time, please call 01743 650252 to check what is possible.

If you require a specific delivery date this can easily be arranged.  Simply note the required delivery date in the special instructions at check out.

In exceptional circumstances delivery delays occur with couriers which are outside of our control  We would recommend booking delivery at least one day before your special event to minimise any risk. 

Buying a Gift

If you are buying for a gift we can send the shipment to any UK address on your behalf.  Please note in the comments section this is a gift purchase and we will ensure no pricing information is included in the shipment.

We are also able to include a gift message in all shipments.  In the comments box please leave your message and we will add it with your order.
